This kinetic sculpture of our solar system was exhibited at Burning Man 2014 in Black Rock City. I was honored to be a welder on the project. Within it's core there is a gearbox that was designed to drive all the planetary arms at varying speeds. I built the arms that hold Jupiter, Neptune, and Saturn. I also worked on the fiberglass molds for the planets. A special thank you to Gescykae Welz who was the lead artist and visionary.
