This art installation is a collaboration with Simoneone who recently painted a series of wall murals in the Adobe headquarters in downtown San Francisco. One of the walls showcases the awards Adobe has won over the years for technical innovation in the graphic design industry and film industry. Rather than having a typical corporate awards shelf, Adobe wanted to showcase the awards in a unique way. I lead the 3D modeling design process and sculpted 9 awards that appear to emerge from the wall, growing like crystal formations. Each award has a unique crystal fractal treatment based on the base geometry of each award. The awards were then 3D printed in resin, meticulously cleaned up, hand painted, then installed on location in the Adobe headquarters. This collaboration was one of the most unique and fun opportunities I’ve had the pleasure of working on. It was truly an honor to work with the Adobe Creative team after a long career of using their tools to express my creative visions and dreams.
