At the Us Open Tennis tournament Your Majesty was asked to create an interactive experience for American Express that allowed fans to create fun collaborative generative art. Using motion-tracking and custom tennis racquets we transformed fans’ tennis swings into generative art geometry. Multiple players can add to the same interactive canvas. We custom built tennis racquets with embedded motion sensors that interacted with a Cinder based system for participants to generate a collaborative mural on a 30’ LED screen.
We also built an automated photo booth that shot bursts of stroboscopic photography and output dynamically generated art prints for the fans to take home.
